What We Believe

THE WORD OF GOD

We believe that the Bible is the infallible and inerrant Word of God. As such, the Bible alone is the final authority on salvation and righteous living.

2 Timothy 3:15-16

THE GODHEAD
We believe there is one God, the eternal Spirit that manifest Himself as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Ghost in regeneration.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16

THE GOSPEL
We believe that all have sinned and are in need of a Savior. We believe that the Bible teaches that salvation itself can only be received through the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is the “power of God unto salvation, to everyone who believes and obeys”.

Romans 3:23; Romans 1:16; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; 2 Thessalonians 1:8

REPENTANCE AND FORGIVENESS
Jesus said, Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” (Matthew 4:17) The summons of the Savior is to our confession of sin and our acknowledgement of His provision of new life. Only through Him may we have life abundant in the future.

WATER BAPTISM
The Lord Jesus Christ commanded us to be born again “of the water and the Spirit”. (John 3:5)

Water baptism is an integral part of this newly established life He is bringing to each of us. We strongly encourage all believers to be “baptized in the name of Jesus Christ" for the remission

of sin. (Acts 2:38)

BAPTISM IN THE SPIRIT

Christ’s promise in Acts 1:5 is as available today as it was when the Lord Jesus gave it 2,000 years ago! “Ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost”.

The promise of Acts 2:38-39 is to be taken seriously as well; this timeless blessing is ours for the receiving!

HEALING AND DELIVERANCE
We believe in divine healing as the power of Jesus Christ to heal the sick and afflicted in answer to believing prayer. The ministry of 1st AT is available to minister the grace of God according to the scripture. (James 5:14; 16)

We also recognize that much affliction and inner turmoil requires spiritual counsel and guidance from Gods Word as “the chastisement of our peace was upon Him”.

(Isaiah 53:5)

Meet The Pastor

Pastor Joe Aldrich

Pastor Joel Aldrich has faithfully served as the shepherd of First Apostolic Tabernacle with a passion for preaching truth, loving people, and building strong families in Christ. With a heart for revival and a vision for spiritual growth, Pastor Aldrich leads with wisdom, humility, and a deep commitment to God’s Word.

Under his leadership, 1stAT has grown into a thriving, Spirit-filled church where lives are changed, and the power of God is experienced. Whether behind the pulpit or in the community, Pastor Aldrich is known for his approachable nature, his love for the next generation, and his unwavering belief that Jesus still transforms lives today.

A Message From The Pastor

The members of 1stAT meet for four specific reasons. First, to worship the Lord ‘in‘ spirit and in truth’, second, to receive encouragement, direction, and counsel from Gods preached Word, third, to receive individual blessings from the Lord, fourth, to enjoy fellowship with one another, and with the Lord God himself!

To the members of 1stAT, attending church is a way of life. Uniting together in prayer, praise, and God’s word lays the foundation to become a meeting place for God! Underneath those conditions He has promised to meet with us and there He moves, heals, and delivers us out of our mundane existence and our troubles into the very power of God!

People by the hundreds have come through the doors of 1stAT and we believe all of them would say that they felt a friendly and welcoming atmosphere while visiting our services. And this is our prayer and desire for you. Regardless if you attend our services in person or watch online, may you feel the great and awesome power of God, and may His blessings rest upon you! Sunday Morning Evangelistic Service: 10 AM

Sunday Evening Sunday School Classes: 5PM

Wednesday Evening Bible Study: 7PM

Wednesday Evening Youth: 7PM

We’d love for you to join us in any or all of our services! Whether you’re visiting for the first time or returning ‘home’, there’s a place here for you!

What programs do you have for children?

We love seeing young hearts grow in faith in the Lord Jesus!

Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing space where kids can build a strong foundation in Christ, and have fun doing it!

At 1st AT, we offer engaging and age- appropriate programs for children of all ages including Sunday School, each Sunday evening at 5PM!

Those classes are individually designed to be a fun, faith filled environment where children and youth learn about God through Bible stories, music, multimedia programs, and hands on activities.

Over the years literally hundreds upon hundreds of children have been involved in seasonal activities, like VBS, holiday programs, family focused gatherings, church potlucks, picnics, and our Christmas banquets!

What do I need to do to become a member?

We do not consider membership to be a requirement for your fellowship with us at 1st AT or your participation in our Worship services. We seek to embrace and minister to the needs of all those who may be desirous of a more complete, and closer relationship with the Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!
